A Healthy Pallet I Prefer Working With (48" x 40" BLOCK CLASS)

Pallets are difficult to come by when working in a warehouse sometimes. The ones available can be busted or already occupied with product. A healthy pallet is a healthy, square stack of cases/other product.

I'll be writing more regarding pallets and palletization but I wanted to touch upon a specific pallet I prefer working with. I've had to contend with lightweight, crumby pallets when working/picking orders in various warehouses. You can't stack cartons of paper or any heavy product on thin wood, Styrofoam or plastic. It's commonsense. Pallets of such tip easily, splinter and implode.

Examine the traditional, 48 x 40 inch wooden pallet. It's the most common pallet in the warehouse field but pay close attention to their structure. Don't settle for thin, easily collapsible wood, plastic or Styrofoam. Remember the term "BLOCK CLASS". I absolutely love block class pallets. They're solid, sturdy and fabulous for stacking heavy capacities.

48x40 HT Block (Costco) — Export Compliant

The support of this type of pallet is equally distributed throughout its build, usually unshakable, usually unbreakable (unless damaged from excessive forklift/electric floor jack abuse) and is export/import compliant.

This type of pallet is EXCEPTIONAL for stacking soda packs, beverage cases and paper cartons.
